We aim to revive traditional crafts and present them in contemporary designs for modern customers. Role & Responsibilities: Plan seasonal & festival-wise SKUs (sarees, kurta sets, ethnic wear). Create sketches & digital designs (using CorelDRAW, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.). Ensure timely sample development & bulk production with tailors & artisans. Conduct trend & fabric research to design innovative ethnic collections. Manage design documentation – SKU sheets, mood boards, presentations. Coordinate with production teams for timely launches & exhibitions . Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design (NIFT/PEARL/Equivalent preferred). 1–3 years of experience in ethnic wear / handloom / sustainable fashion . Proficiency in design software & sketching . Strong sense of color, fabric, and ethnic silhouettes. Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end design cycle . As a Merchandiser / Production Manager at Saantha, a sustainable fashion brand collaborating with 2000+ artisans in Jharkhand, your role will involve handling production processes from raw material sourcing to final shipment. You will be responsible for various tasks including order execution, sourcing & procurement, production coordination, inventory management, documentation & record-keeping, product development, sales forecasting & planning, communication & negotiation, customer relationship management, and regular travel to supervision units/workshops in Ranchi, Jamshedpur & nearby areas.
