The CNC Programmer (Milling & Turning) will be responsible for developing CNC programs for precision machining operations across milling (3–5 axis) and turning (2–4 axis) machines. This role involves program creation, optimization, verification, and collaboration with operators to ensure efficient, high-quality production with minimal rejections and downtime.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to manage tender identification, procurement portals (GeM, DefProc, etc.), vendor relations, and communication management. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our company does not miss a single business opportunity, while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders. Key ResponsibilitiesTender Identification & Tracking Monitor GeM, DefProc, eProcurement portals, and defense procurement platforms daily to identify relevant orders and tenders. Ensure no opportunity is missed by maintaining a systematic tracking and alert mechanism. Shortlist and present potential opportunities to management for timely bidding. Vendor & Stakeholder Relations Establish, manage, and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and government procurement officers. Act as the primary communication bridge between company and external agencies. Ensure smooth coordination and timely resolution of vendor queries. Documentation & Compliance Maintain all vendor registration details, certifications, licenses, and compliance documents up to date. Prepare and submit EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents accurately and on time. Coordinate with internal departments for technical/financial details required for submissions. Market Intelligence Research upcoming projects and defense procurement plans to proactively identify business opportunities. Provide periodic reports on competitor activity, pricing trends, and upcoming procurement cycles. Internal Support Recommend strategies for tender participation based on technical capability and financial viability. Maintain clear communication with management about upcoming deadlines, requirements, and risks. Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Management / Supply Chain / Commerce (preferred: MBA in Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Development). Experience: 2–5 years of experience in tendering, vendor relations, supply chain management, or defense/aerospace procurement. Prior experience with GeM, DefProc, and other e-procurement portals is highly desirable. Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze technical/financial tender documents. Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and e-procurement platforms. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
