Job Title: Civil Engineer Location: Gulbarga, Karnataka Duration: 2 years Experience: 3 to 5 years --- Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with at least 4 years of experience to join our team for a 2-year project in Gulbarga, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects while ensuring that all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and within the specified timelines. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Design: Develop detailed plans, designs, and specifications for construction projects (residential, commercial, roads, drainage, etc.). Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure seamless design and execution. Site Management: Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site. Ensure the construction work is completed as per the approved design, schedule, and safety regulations. Manage and supervise construction workers, subcontractors, and vendors. Quality Control & Safety: Monitor the quality of construction and ensure all work is in compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards. Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain safety standards. Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure project progress and resolve any issues. Prepare and submit regular project status reports to senior management. Maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and budgets. Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any technical or design issues that arise during the project. Provide innovative solutions to improve efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Cost & Budget Management: Track and manage project budgets and costs. Identify cost-effective solutions and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in construction project management. Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or other civil engineering software. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes. Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks. Certifications: PMP or similar project management certification (preferred). Any other relevant certifications in civil engineering or construction management are a plus. Additional Requirements: Location Flexibility: Willingness to relocate and work in Gulbarga for the duration of the project. Physical Stamina: Ability to work in challenging outdoor environments and perform site inspections. Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.
