Position: Area Business Manager Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chennai. Company Name - Skant Healthcare Ltd - Dermx Division. We are seeking an experienced Area Business Manager to lead our companys sales objectives and strengthen our market presence. The role involves supervising the sales team, managing key client relationships , and implementing strategies for sustainable business growth. An ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills , along with a solid understanding of sales processes and market dynamics . Key Responsibilities Drive business growth in the assigned territory through a team of DMs/Sr. DMs by achieving budgeted sales objectives in line with company compliance standards. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key scientific leaders in the region. Plan and execute scientific initiatives such as CMEs, develop account-specific strategic and tactical plans , and ensure the effective execution of marketing campaigns. Identify and map territory potential , expanding the prescriber base and improving market coverage. Analyze sales reports, forecasts, and dashboards (e.g., ICONNECT, SFE) to assess performance and drive continuous improvement. Monitor brand performance , align field activities with MCCP objectives, and implement growth strategies. Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and collaborating with internal departments for seamless service delivery. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Science or Pharmacy (BSc/BPharma) required. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales or business management. Dermatology experience preferred. Proven leadership and people management skills , with the ability to lead teams through change. Experience working in a matrixed organizational structure with an enterprise mindset. Strong understanding of customer insights, business intelligence, and industry trends . Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and project management .
