Job Title: Nature Educator Rupa Rahul Bajaj Center for Environment and Art (RRBCEA) located on the premises of Empress Botanical Gardens, Pune is looking for a Nature Educator for school programs with subject expertise and excellent communication skills. An ideal candidate would be a person who loves nature, has subject expertise, is comfortable with engaging and interacting with school aged children. This is a full time position. Remuneration: Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated). Can consider higher remuneration depending on expertise and experience. The job will require the Nature Educator to: 1. Design age-appropriate nature education sessions for school aged children 2. Identify resource persons for various programs based on nature related themes, contact the resource persons in a timely manner and organise logistics. 3. Conduct nature related sessions at regular intervals in schools across the city 4. Communicate and coordinate with school authorities, teachers and other stakeholders about the school sessions. 5. Take feedback, keep proper record, and prepare reports of the school sessions as per requirement. Eligibility: BSc/ MSc in Life Sciences/ Botany/ Zoology/ Biodiversity/ Environmental Sciences or allied fields. Applications are invited for the position of Creative Content Designer at Rupa Rahul Bajaj Centre for Environment and Art (RRBCEA), Empress Botanical Garden, Pune. RRBCEA was established in 2018 with the vision of building a world-class platform for awareness and education about the environment and art (https://rrbcea.org). The Creative Content Designer will assist the RRBCEA team in creating fliers, brochures, booklets, flex designs and other promotional creative material for various programs held at RRBCEA. The specific roles and responsibilities for this position are :- Preparing presentations, posters, fliers about the Centre's programs and initiatives, developing content for public communication of programs such as brochures, pamphlets - Creating informative/ interpretation boards, designs for the Centre’s themed exhibitions Designing, formatting booklets and reports for CSR and public distribution. - Creating posts, reels, short videos, and audios with social media team for building presence on social media platforms. Assisting in all related tasks assigned by the Centre Head. Eligibility requirements:- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma/ Certificate course in Graphic design from an accredited institution in India or abroad, with a strong professional work ethic. Candidates who have just finished courses can apply. Familiarity with various software such as Canva, Coral Draw, Adobe Photoshop, software required for video and audio editing • Good communication and people skills (written and spoken), especially in the English language. Very good multi-tasking and prioritizing skills Basic computer skills (emails, MS office suite) A general interest in environment, sustainability, art is desirable This will be a year contract position with a first two months of probation period. The contract can be potentially extended based on performance and the needs of the Centre. Salary will depend on your qualifications and experience, roughly in the range of Rs. 15,000 – 18,000 per month.
