Rubber Compounder

As a Rubber Compounder, your role will involve developing new compounds as per the requirements, retuning existing compounds based on product needs and testing observations, and working on cost reduction strategies for current compounds. You will be responsible for creating compounding sequences and process standards to optimize resources effectively. Additionally, you will investigate process-related issues, identify key performance indicators, and analyze test results to enhance compound quality. Your expertise in rubber technology and compound management will be crucial in spearheading cost reduction initiatives and ensuring compound assurance for further processes. Key Responsibilities: - Develop new compounds as per requirements - Retune existing compounds based on product needs and testing observations - Work on cost reduction strategies for current compounds - Create compounding sequences and process standards for effective resource utilization - Investigate process-related issues, implement corrective actions, and monitor their effectiveness - Identify and report key performance indicators related to compounding and rubber mixing - Analyze test results of compounds and chemicals, and implement improvements - Lead cost reduction efforts in mixing and compound formulation - Design tests to ensure compound quality for further processes Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Rubber Technology from a reputed institute - Master's degree in Polymer Science Additional Details: The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge in developing compounds related to NR, NBR, ACM, EPDM, Silicon, blends of polymers, and blends of reinforcing agents to achieve desired properties. Knowledge of ERP, APQP, vendor base for rubber and rubber processing chemicals, OHSAS, REACH, California 65 regulations, and rubber mixing machine design concepts are desirable. Strong communication and administrative skills are also essential for this role.,
