Responsibilities of Rubber Compounder

As a Rubber Compounder at our company, you will be responsible for developing new compounds, fine-tuning existing compounds, and reducing costs while ensuring the quality and performance of rubber products. With a minimum of 15 years of experience in rubber compounding and expertise in rubber mixing, you will play a crucial role in the production process. Your educational background should include a Bachelor's Degree in Rubber Technology from a reputed institute and a Master's Degree in Polymer Science. Your extensive knowledge of compounded rubber in injection, transfer, and compression molding, as well as adhesion coating and its effects on rubber formulation, will be essential for this role. Practical experience in developing compounds related to various types of rubber and polymer blends is highly desired. In addition to your technical skills, you should also possess knowledge of ERP systems, APQP, vendor base management for rubber chemicals, and regulatory standards such as OHSAS, REACH, and California 65 regulations. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage administrative tasks will be valuable assets in this position. Your responsibilities will include developing new compounds based on product requirements, optimizing existing compounds for cost and performance, establishing compounding standards, and addressing process-related issues through corrective and preventive actions. You will also be responsible for analyzing test results, spearheading cost reduction initiatives, and designing tests for compound assurance. Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Head for administrative matters and the Chief Technical Officer for technical issues, you will be a key player in our compounding and rubber mixing operations. Your qualifications in rubber technology, compound management, and polymer science will be instrumental in achieving our production goals and maintaining our high product quality standards.,
