Job Title: Firmware Developer CCTV Systems Location: Mangalagiri, Andhrapradesh. Experience Required: 7 to 10 Years Department: R&D / Embedded Systems Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Firmware Developer to join our CCTV OEM development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, optimizing, and maintaining embedded firmware for IP cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related security devices. You will be working on performance-critical, real-time video processing systems integrated with SoCs like Novatek, HiSilicon, or Ambarella. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for CCTV/IP cameras and video security devices. Work with SoCs (e.g., Novatek, HiSilicon, Ambarella) and customize SDKs provided by chipset vendors. Integrate video codecs (H.264/H.265), ONVIF protocol, RTSP streaming, and network stack functionality. Debug hardware/software integration issues using tools such as JTAG, Oscilloscope, and Serial Console. Collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams for system-level debugging and validation. Optimize firmware for performance, stability, and memory usage under real-time constraints. Maintain code versioning and documentation using Git and industry best practices. Contribute to BSP (Board Support Package) porting and device driver customization. Implement secure firmware update mechanisms (OTA, local USB). Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data privacy standards for IoT devices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's/Masters degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field. 45 years of hands-on experience in embedded C/C++ programming for RTOS/Linux-based systems. Experience with CCTV firmware or video surveillance products is mandatory . Familiarity with IP protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, RTSP, ONVIF, SIP) and multimedia streaming. Strong understanding of image sensors, ISP tuning, and video encoding pipelines. Experience in bootloader customization, kernel configuration, and driver development. Good debugging and troubleshooting skills in embedded environments. Exposure to source control (Git), CI/CD, and agile development processes. Preferred (Good to Have): Experience with AI-enabled edge devices or video analytics integration. Familiarity with secure boot, trusted firmware, or encryption standards. Prior experience in working with government/enterprise security surveillance projects. Knowledge of Yocto, Buildroot, or similar embedded Linux build systems.
