As a Senior Scientist - Microbiology at MedGenome Labs Ltd. in Bengaluru, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team dedicated to clinical genomics. With over 8 years of experience in Microbiology, NGS, and RT PCR based assays, you will play a crucial role in developing molecular methods for the detection of microbes in clinical specimens. Your responsibilities will include analyzing molecular data, interpreting results, and generating test reports. Additionally, you will be expected to prepare SOPs, validation protocols, and present experimental results to senior scientific staff, collaborators, and clients. Key Responsibilities: - Review literature to develop molecular methods for detecting microbes in clinical specimens - Analyze molecular data, interpret results, and generate test reports - Prepare SOPs, validation protocols, and support sales and customer service teams for technical queries - Present experimental results to senior scientific staff, collaborators, and clients - Participate in technical decisions affecting research and development issues - Maintain knowledge of scientific technological developments by reading current literature - Coordinate with bioinformatics for timely delivery of analysis results - Develop and validate NGS-based tests for detecting microbes in various clinical specimens - Perform and validate RT-PCR based assays for detecting various microbes - Supervise pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical parameters of the assays - Maintain specimen and DNA/RNA inventory - Supervise the lab team to manage turnaround times and stock requirements - Discuss clinical reports with clinicians - Collaborate and direct research associate staff to achieve project-specific timelines - Uphold laboratory upkeep and safety standards - Follow CAP and NABL requirements in the lab and support quality assurance team during audits - Train new joiners Qualifications Required: - PhD in Microbiology If you are passionate about microbiology and genomics and possess the required skills and experience, click the APPLY NOW button to join our innovative team at MedGenome Labs Ltd.,
