We are currently seeking innovative individuals with a strong background in Wireless LAN driver/firmware development for the role of WLAN Firmware Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, unit testing, bug fixing, and maintaining WLAN firmware for Espressif IoT platforms. This includes implementing functionality as per the 802.11 standard and developing custom WiFi solutions for Espressif IoT infrastructure. Additionally, you will support Espressif customers with various WiFi features. Minimum Qualifications: - BE/B.Tech in Computer Science with 4-9 years of experience - Strong Computer Science fundamentals - Hands-on experience in Wireless LAN driver/firmware development - Strong C design and coding skills, as well as experience in low-level software debugging - Experience in WiFi sniffer analysis & debugging using tools like Wireshark/Omnipeek - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Nice to have skills: - Understanding of WiFi PHY concepts such as OFDM, MIMO, beam-forming, and antenna basics - Experience in RTOS programming for ARM/Xtensa microprocessors - Understanding of TCP/IP stack including DHCP, ARP, NAT, and other protocols - Experience in firmware development for processors with small memory footprints Our interview process involves submitting your resume and a sample of your work, followed by a series of technical interviews. Successful candidates will also have an interview with HR.
