The role of a Functional Test Engineer requires 3-9 years of experience and can be based in Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, or Kolkata with a notice period of immediate to a maximum of 30 days. The main skills required for this role include Software QA testing, Functional Tests with TDD (Test Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior Driven Development), TTH Integration Testing, Quality Assurance, Test Case Design, Database Testing, Systems Analysis, Software Requirements Analysis, Test Case Development and Execution, Functional Testing, and Agile Methodologies. Additionally, secondary skills that would be beneficial for this role include API Testing, RTM -Testing, SIT -Testing, Test Design and Execution -Testing, Test Reports and Dashboards - Testing, Functional/System Testing, InSprint Testing, Integration/Interface Testing, Regression Testing, SQL & Database testing, and User Acceptance Testing. The responsibilities of this role include experience in software testing, proficiency in defect tracking and reporting, a strong understanding of software test design and execution, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, strong attention to detail, setting up mock data for testing, system integration and user acceptance testing, and reporting test results and defects while tracking and fixing defects.
