As a member of the Sales Engineering team at Arista, you will collaborate with industry experts and technical leaders to drive innovation and client success. Working closely with the System Engineering Manager and skilled field engineers, you will not only grasp the technology but also understand its business implications and align solutions with client objectives. Your role will involve collaborating with Product Management and Software Development teams to shape product offerings and strategic direction, ensuring optimal support for customers and prospects. Supported by Arista TAC's expertise and cutting-edge resources, you will have the opportunity to lead and innovate within the industry. In this role, you will join the Sales Engineering team as a Senior Systems Engineer, supporting enterprise/commercial customers in the Western India region. Your responsibilities will include acting as a trusted advisor to customers, gathering requirements, identifying opportunities, and conducting network architectural reviews and product presentations. You will design and propose network solutions using leaf-spine architectures and network overlays, validate proof-of-concept setups, and provide hands-on support for network designs and deployments. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Sales Team to respond to RFPs/RFQs, provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering, represent Arista at industry events, and stay updated on competitive solutions and services. To excel in this role, you should hold a technical degree in BE/BS/CS/CE, with a preference for Network Industry Certification (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE). With a minimum of 10+ years of networking design and implementation experience, focusing on Data Centre and Campus networks, you should possess expertise in routing, switching, L2/L3 protocols, and network overlays. Knowledge of Ethernet, IP Routing, TCP/IP, BGP, VxLAN, EVPN, and network automation tools like Python and Ansible will be beneficial.
