Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and driven Chartered Accountant with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in the finance domain. You will work closely with the Finance Head to support critical business and finance functions, including financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic projects. What you will achieve in this role: Financial Reporting & Closing Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities Assist with conversion of IFRS 4 based financial results to IFRS 17 based outputs. Preparing results, both under Premium Allocation Approach model and General Measurement Model for contracts under Intact UK&I and assisting in consolidation of results with Canada based Group entities. Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely completion of statutory and internal audits Preparation of system interface reconciliations Financial Planning and Analysis Support preparation of annual budgets, roll forecasts, and variance analysis Assist in creating dashboards and MIS reports for leadership reviews Internal Controls & Compliance Help implement and monitor internal control frameworks in line with SOX/IFC standards Business Partnering Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Actuarial, Group Finance, FP&A, Finance systems and FCF) for financial insights Implementing group wide solutions across workstreams ranging from Group Financial reporting to Finance System transformation Process Improvements & Projects Identify automation opportunities and drive efficiency in reporting processes Participate in key finance transformation or ERP enhancement initiatives What do you bring to this role: • Qualified Chartered Accountant (0–2 years post-qualification experience) • Experience in financial reporting, audit, or controllership • Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards and exposure to IFRS • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint; working knowledge of SAP or other ERPs (Oracle) is a plus • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
