Job Title: Algo Trading Developer (C++/Python/SQL) About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Algo Trading Developer to design, build, and maintain automated trading systems capable of placing multiple orders across multiple accounts simultaneously. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in programming (C++, Python, or equivalent), SQL, and trading APIs along with an understanding of stock market dynamics and order execution strategies. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize algorithmic trading systems for equities, derivatives, and other asset classes. Build low-latency order execution engines capable of handling multiple accounts and brokers concurrently. Integrate with broker APIs (Zerodha, Interactive Brokers, Upstox, etc.) and ensure seamless multi-account order routing. Develop risk management, monitoring dashboards, and fail-safe mechanisms for trades. Write efficient backend services using C++/Python and manage trading databases in SQL. Conduct backtesting, simulation, and performance optimization of trading strategies. Troubleshoot production issues and ensure 99.9% uptime of algo systems. Collaborate with the founder/trading team to translate trading ideas into executable code. ⸻ Required Skills & Qualifications Strong programming expertise in C++ (preferred), Python, or other relevant languages. Solid knowledge of SQL and database management for handling order, trade, and market data. Experience with broker/trading APIs (REST/WebSocket/FIX protocols). Knowledge of multi-threading, concurrency, and low-latency system design. Strong understanding of stock market order types, margin, risk rules, and exchange compliance. Prior experience in algo trading / HFT / prop trading firm / fintech is a big plus. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field. ⸻ Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure) and distributed systems. Exposure to quantitative finance, statistical modeling, or backtesting frameworks. Ability to scale trading systems for large order volumes and multi-broker connectivity. ⸻ Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
