Staying updated with the latest AS/400 technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements or alternative solutions for enhancing system performance and efficiency is required. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support system integration, data migration, and software deployment activities is also expected. Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices is part of your responsibilities. You are required to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an AS/400 Developer, working with RPG IV, RPG Free, CL, and DDS, with at least 3 years of team handling experience is necessary. A strong understanding of AS/400 programming concepts, proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting AS/400 applications, and experience with AS/400 development tools like SEU, PDM, and RDi are essential. Familiarity with relational databases, particularly DB2 on the AS/400 platform, knowledge of AS/400 performance tuning and optimization techniques, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required for this role.,
