As a Junior Nurse at Season Two Senior Living, you will be responsible for providing daily healthcare support to elderly residents during the morning shift, reporting directly to the Senior Nurse. Your duties will include monitoring vital signs, administering prescribed medications, and ensuring compassionate, resident-centered care in line with established protocols. You will deliver direct nursing care and assist in preparing customized care plans. Additionally, you will guide, monitor, and coordinate with Healthcare Assistants (HA) to ensure proper care delivery by the HA staff. Assisting senior nurses in recruitment, management, and training programs will also be part of your responsibilities. Active participation in resident engagement activities is encouraged to enhance the resident's quality of life. As part of your role, you will coordinate with Healthcare Assistants to ensure smooth day-to-day care delivery. Providing basic training and demonstrations on hygiene, feeding, mobility, and safety protocols to new HAs will be essential. Monitoring HA performance, ensuring adherence to documentation, and reporting any concerns or training needs to the Senior Nurse will contribute to maintaining high standards of care. Encouraging teamwork and fostering a respectful and collaborative work environment will be crucial for a harmonious workplace. The ideal candidate for this position will hold a B.Sc Nursing degree from a recognized institution and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical, hospital, or elder care setting. Experience in the Geriatric care sector will be considered an added advantage. Key skills required include clinical knowledge, patient care skills, clear communication, teamwork abilities, a compassionate and empathetic attitude, and the ability to work under supervision while managing routine responsibilities. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule located in Trivandrum, Kerala. Relocation or reliable commute to the work location is required. A willingness to reside in the facility as part of your role responsibilities will be an essential consideration. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with at least 1 year of nursing experience and proficiency in Hindi. A Nursing License is mandatory for this in-person job opportunity.,
