Job description Role & responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for Sales & Distribution function for our range of product for assigned territory. Operating one of our 4 distribution highway: Fresh, Frozen, Chilled and Ambient. The candidate will be responsible for market coverage as well as market penetration for assigned territory. The major responsibility includes sales planning, Logistics & Distribution Management, WD & Territory Management, Product Promotion, New Product Launches, Achievement of sales targets etc. The candidate will be also responsible for prospecting, qualifying, negotiating and strategizing business development. S/he is required to track and analyse competitors activities and suggest countermeasures from time to time. Their success will be measured by the delivery of business critical goals, growth and gain in market share. Preferred candidate profile The candidate should be first class graduate in any discipline with full time & two years post graduation in management or first class graduate in Dairy Technology / Food Technology. They should also have minimum 1 to 2 years of FMCG sales experience. The age should not be more than 28 years. The candidates having knowledge of local language need only apply.

Responsibilities To drive effective sales planning through robust data management, accurate sales tracking, and actionable sales analysis, enabling the organization to understand sales trends, identify growth opportunities, and support strategic decision-making. Order & Supply-Chain Coordination Receive and process customer orders promptly in the ERP/DMS. Liaise daily with Warehouse & Logistics teams to ensure real-time stock visibility, on-time dispatch, OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) delivery. Monitor inventory health, flagging low-stock or slow-moving SKUs for proactive action. Sales Data Governance & Reporting Own the integrity of primary, secondary, and tertiary sales data across regions and channels. Clean, validate, and consolidate datasets; automate routine reports using advanced Excel (Power Query / PivotTables) and Python (pandas, matplotlib) scripts. Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards to senior management, highlighting gaps vs. target and recommending corrective actions. Outlet & Distribution Management Maintain a master list of outlets, distributors, and territories; track numeric & weighted distribution KPIs. Analyse sell-in / sell-out / stock rotation data to uncover white-space opportunities. Propose route-to-market or assortment optimization to expand coverage and improve shelf availability. Insight & Forecast Support Analyse market trends, promotion effectiveness, and competitor activities to explain variance and guide planning. Partner with Demand Planning to build rolling forecasts that align inventory levels with sales velocity. Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for Sales, Marketing, and Production teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as the data single source of truth for Sales, SCM, and Finance, ensuring consistency across functions. Provide analytics support for new product launches, channel programmes, and cost-to-serve initiatives. Champion continuous-improvement projects that shorten lead times and elevate customer service. Success Indicators 95 % OTIF delivery rate Any sales reports delivered 100 % on time & error-free Numeric distribution +10 pp YoY in focus channels Data-driven initiatives delivering measurable cost-to-serve or sales uplifts Key Skills & Competencies: Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related discipline. 5+ years in Sales Planning / Sales Operations within FMCG or food-service sectors. Expert-level MS Excel (formulas, PivotTables, Power Query) and working knowledge of Python for data wrangling; ERP and BI tools (Power BI / Tableau) a plus. Solid grasp of distribution metrics (primary, secondary, tertiary sales; numeric vs. weighted distribution). Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and turn data into commercially sound actions. Fluent English; strong presentation and stakeholder-management skills. Candidate Requirements Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or related fields. MBA preferred. 4-7 years of experience in sales planning, sales analytics, or business analysis. Proven experience in sales data management and performance analysis in FMCG or a similar industry.
