As a Senior Engineer in ETP Operations within the E&P Conv KG KKD Onshore Process unit, your primary responsibility is to support the operations at the new ETP area. You will ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the Permit to Work (PTW) regulations and that the safety stewards of the construction contractor adhere to all safety requirements. It is crucial that the required excavations are conducted safely without impacting the existing plant. Your role will also involve overseeing the pipe laying activities within the current plant area as per the designated plan. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating the installation of underground water pumps and pipelines, closely monitoring the hookup of new lines with the existing system, and ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements related to ETP and Desal operations. It is essential to prevent any adverse effects on the existing system due to construction activities and ensure that the movement of heavy vehicles aligns with the outlined plan. Your role will involve overseeing proper lifting procedures, identifying and mitigating unsafe acts to prevent incidents, conducting Tool Box Talks to raise awareness among contract workers, and ensuring that all equipment is tested and tagged appropriately. You will also be responsible for verifying the integrity of welding booths, coordinating equipment openings in accordance with GA drawings, and inspecting the internals as per the drawings. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in identifying loops for activities such as cardboard blasting, flushing, and cleaning, as well as participating in line walks, raising punch points, and conducting loop and logic checks. Your responsibilities will extend to overseeing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as per the established plan, ensuring trial runs of all rotary equipment, and facilitating the closure of punch points. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and have a minimum of 6 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry. Your expertise and qualifications will be instrumental in successfully executing the responsibilities associated with this position.,

Role & responsibilities Assist in planning and execution of daily, weekly, and shutdown preventive maintenance activities for static and rotary equipment. Coordinate mechanical maintenance jobs across sections (reactors, compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, loading bays, etc.). Ensure timely breakdown response, fault diagnosis, and restoration of plant equipment with minimal downtime. Prepare and update maintenance schedules, checklists, job safety analysis (JSA), and permit documents. Supervise contract manpower and ensure adherence to safety protocols during maintenance jobs. Verify equipment health reports, vibration readings, leak detection, and condition monitoring data. Coordinate with operations, instrumentation, and electrical teams during plant modifications and shutdowns. Ensure spares availability by following up with stores and procurement for mechanical items and consumables. Support reliability improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and MOC implementation. Review and maintain documentation such as history cards, failure analysis reports, and preventive maintenance logs. Assist in training of technicians and junior engineers on SOPs, safe work practices, and troubleshooting skills. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for major failures and implement corrective/preventive actions. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OHSAS 45001, ISO standards, and internal audit requirements.

10-12 years of Experience in Rotary Equipment's :- Pumps, Compressors, Fans, Blowers, Turbines and Agitators, etc. for Oil and gas, petrochemical, and chemical industries Experience in Mechanical Packages :- Process and Utility Packages like Glycol Dehydration, Chemical Injection, WHRU, Air Dryer, Nitrogen Generation package, Water Treatment, Effluent Treatment, Boilers, etc. Technical Specifications preparation Calculations (Sizing, NPSHa, Motor Capacity Calculations) (Input for Vendors) Datasheets preparation (Input for Vendors) Vendor List preparation Material Requisition / RFQ (Request for Quotation) for Vendors Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) (Technical + commercial) Purchase Requisition (Purchase Order) Vendor Document Review (VDR) (Post Order) Vendor Management Very good grasp of international codes related to the field: API 610, API 674, API 676, API 617, API 618, API 619, API 673, etc. Experience in developing P&IDs, review of Process documents. Experience in the Sulphuric Acid Plant would be plus point. Familiar with interdisciplinary reviews of datasheets, specifications, and vendor documents. Sound knowledge of material standards, inspection requirements and testing requirements including NDE.
