Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrator to support our human resources functions within the dynamic environment of the Hospitality, Events, and MICE industry. The ideal candidate will handle administrative tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance, ensuring smooth HR operations that align with the fast-paced nature of our industry. Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates for various roles across hospitality and event functions. Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, and feedback collection. Facilitate pre-employment processes including reference checks and documentation. Organize and deliver employee onboarding and induction programs tailored to event and hospitality operations. 2. Employee Records & Documentation: Maintain and update employee records (digital and physical) accurately. Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts, letters, and reports. Track and manage employee leaves, attendance, and rosters in coordination with operations. 3. HR Operations & Support: Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures in line with labor laws and company standards. Act as a liaison between employees and management to handle queries or issues. Coordinate with department heads during large-scale events to support workforce planning and deployment. 4. Payroll & Benefits Support: Collate attendance and overtime records for payroll processing. Assist with benefits administration including insurance, travel, and meal allowances during events. 5. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure HR practices comply with local labor regulations and hospitality industry standards. Generate periodic HR reports (turnover, recruitment status, training hours, etc.) for management review. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 2+ years of HR administrative experience, preferably in hospitality, events, or MICE industry. Familiarity with labor laws, HRMS platforms, and event staff management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Flexible to work evenings/weekends during major events or peak seasons. Preferred Attributes: Experience working with casual staff, freelancers, or large seasonal workforces. Multilingual abilities are a plus. Passion for hospitality, customer service, and event culture.
