As a Robotic Software Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions for autonomous robotic systems. To excel in this role, you should be proficient in C++ and/or Python, with a strong understanding of software development principles. Experience with ROS/ROS2 and robotic middleware, familiarity with robotic algorithms, sensor integration, and simulation tools like Gazebo and Rviz will be essential. Exposure to machine learning or computer vision frameworks, as well as knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Agile development practices, will also be valuable assets. The position of Control System Engineer at Flux Auto in Bangalore, India, is a full-time role. Flux Auto specializes in developing autonomous vehicle technology for commercial and industrial applications, aiming to democratize autonomous vehicle technology globally. As a Control System Engineer at Flux Auto, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to solving complex challenges in autonomous technology and robotics. Preferred qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in control system development and software engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for developing algorithms, designing path tracking controllers for various vehicle models, implementing control algorithms on real-time embedded systems, and collaborating with other departments to ensure consistency in the department stack. You will work towards achieving autonomy levels 3 and 4 by continuously testing algorithms on simulations and vehicle systems for verification and validation. Key requirements for this role include proficiency in C or C++, experience in control architecture design, hands-on experience with Model Predictive Control (MPC) and other optimal control methods, knowledge of data-driven modeling techniques, and a strong foundation in classical, modern, and optimal control theory. Additionally, familiarity with code optimization, ROS/ROS2 for real-time control applications, and software development skills are essential. Nice-to-have skills include an understanding of Digital Signal Processing, experience with state estimation techniques, knowledge of Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning for control, low-level programming experience, and familiarity with MISRA C/C++ and software safety standards.
