Role Overview We’re seeking a creative, technically adept Jewellery Designer to own concept-to-prototype development translating sketches into flawless 3D models using Matrix, with Z-Brush skills as an added asset. You’ll collaborate with our production team and help shape each collection’s signature look. Key Responsibility 3D Modelling & Rendering: Build and refine jewelry pieces in Matrix, producing high-quality renders and technical files. Concept Translation: Work from hand sketches or briefs to create manufacturable 3D designs. Prototype Support: Partner with production and gem-setting teams to iterate on wax prints and metal prototypes. Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed spec sheets, dimensioned drawings, and assembly instructions. Trend Research: Keep a pulse on industry innovations, materials, and finishing techniques; recommend ways to elevate our collections. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with gemologists, CAD technicians, and marketers to ensure design integrity through every stage. What You Bring Experience: 2–3 years (or more) in jewellery design with a strong emphasis on 3D CAD. Software Mastery: Matrix: Expert proficiency required. Z-Brush: Experience is a strong plus. Bonus: Rhino or KeyShot familiarity. Technical Know-How: Solid understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes (casting, finishing, stone-setting). Design Eye: Excellent sketching and visualisation skills; an intuitive sense of proportion and detail. Education: Degree or diploma in Jewellery Design, Industrial Design or a related field.
