Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled ITI Electrician to join our team in maintaining and supporting the electrical systems and equipment of our ropeway operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical systems, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and efficiency. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our ropeway services. Key Responsibilities: - Installation and Maintenance: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment associated with ropeway operations, including motors, generators, and control systems. - Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance. - Troubleshooting and Repairs: - Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, responding promptly to any breakdowns or operational issues. - Repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment as necessary, ensuring compliance with safety standards. - Safety Compliance: - Adhere to safety procedures and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. - Participate in safety drills and maintain awareness of emergency procedures. - Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed on electrical systems. - Provide reports on electrical performance and recommend improvements as needed. - Collaboration: - Work closely with the engineering and maintenance teams to address electrical issues and support the overall operations of the ropeway. - Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and apprentices as needed. Qualifications: - ITI certification in Electrical Engineering or related field. - Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in the ropeway, transportation, or related industries. - Good knowledge of electrical systems, safety protocols, and industry regulations. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals. - Valid electrical license or certification as required by local regulations. Physical Requirements: - Ability to work in various outdoor environments and at height. - Capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in physically demanding conditions.
