You should possess a strong understanding of Linux internals, experience with Linux kernel and driver development, proficiency in Yocto Project and build systems, hands-on experience with peripheral integration, and knowledge of secure boot and filesystem security techniques. Your daily responsibilities will include configuring, building, and maintaining Embedded Linux distributions using Yocto Project, designing and developing Linux device drivers and kernel modules, interfacing with hardware peripherals, implementing power management and secure firmware practices, performing system-level debugging, and collaborating with DevOps tools for version control and continuous integration. Overall, you will play a crucial role in the development of robust, scalable firmware that interfaces seamlessly with custom hardware, ensuring the stability and security of embedded systems.
