We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Patisserie and Continental Cuisine Chef to join our team at the charming Poppy’s Tea Room (PTR) . As Head Chef, you'll take the lead in curating a harmonious and diverse menu that reflects our mission to become the number one tea room in Gurugram. From delicate pastries and exquisite cakes to artisanal sandwiches and comforting soups, your creations will elevate our dining experience and delight our loyal patrons. Your creativity, eye for detail, and culinary flair will be central to making PTR a beloved destination for food lovers. Key Responsibilities Curate and execute a seasonal menu that blends classic and innovative patisserie and continental dishes. Craft a variety of high-quality baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and tarts. Design artisanal sandwiches with unique and crowd-pleasing fillings. Prepare soul-soothing soups and vibrant salads suited for year-round enjoyment. Innovate tea-based beverage pairings to complement our offerings. Ensure consistency, taste, and presentation across all menu items. Oversee daily kitchen operations, fostering efficiency and teamwork. Manage inventory, ordering, and kitchen budgeting. Requirements 3–4 years’ experience as a chef specializing in patisserie and continental cuisine. Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred. Deep understanding of pastry techniques, ingredients, and baking methods. Strong creative vision and attention to detail in both flavor and presentation. Prior experience managing kitchen staff and operations. Passion for elevating the guest experience through memorable food.
