NTT DATA is looking for a Mobile (Android/Kotlin) Solution Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. As a Mobile Solution Architect, you will be responsible for developing end-to-end solutions for mobile applications and owning the architectural vision of the solution. You will work on mobile systems, development platforms, integration methodologies, and stay updated on mobile technologies and industry trends. The basic qualifications for this role include: - 10+ years of experience in mobile application development - 5+ years of experience in Android App development with Kotlin - Minimum 2+ years of Kotlin Compose experience - 2+ years with Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, RoomDatabase, WorkManager - 4+ years of experience with application architectures and Rest API development/integrations - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combined 4 years of work and education experience Preferred qualifications include experience in guiding a small team of mobile developers, using a shared KMP library for code-behind functionality, developing and implementing end-to-end architecture, Rest API development & integrations, offline storage, cloud message APIs, push notifications, UI/UX design, test-driven design & development, and developing reusable components. Once You Are Here, You Will: Work with Architect to gather the technical details and requirements. Develop the module end to end using XML & Kotlin. Write unit test cases and execute the test cases against the entire application functionalities. Work with backend team for REST service creation. Integrate with REST services in the application. Integrate third-party authentication services. Follow UI design, UI guidelines and coding guidelines to develop and deliver the applications. Participate in the code review process and implement the code review comments. Ensure app design is compatible with all the screen sizes. Fix any app issues or bugs that arise. Basic Qualifications: 5+ Years experience in overall mobile App development. 3+ Years experience in Android development with Kotlin With minimum 1 year of Kotlin Compose experience 3+ Years experience in building MVC, MVVM architecture, Rest API development/integrations, SVN/GIT/Bitbucket. 2+ years experience with Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, RoomDatabase, WorkManager Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combined 4 years education and work experience Preferred: 2+ years experience with Junit, Espresso and Mockito Frameworks. 2+ years experience with tools like Atlassian JIRA. 1+ years experience /knowledge of other Java script frameworks like Angular, Ionic, React Native, React JS and Flutter 1+ years experience with UI/UX design and implementation 1+ years experience in CI/CD Ideal Mindset: Lifelong Learner.
