About the Role Boche Tea is seeking a motivated and performance-driven Sales Officer to lead market expansion, drive sales, and strengthen our presence in the designated region. The role involves distributor network development, shop visits, and execution of promotional initiatives to boost brand visibility and achieve sales targets. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular shop visits to build strong retailer relationships and ensure product availability. Drive market expansion by identifying, approaching, and onboarding new retail partners. Grow and strengthen the distributor network for effective market coverage. Implement sales promotions and merchandising activities to increase visibility and sales. Consistently achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets . Role Overview The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for spearheading sales growth and distribution expansion of Boche Tea across the Central Kerala market. The role involves managing distributor relationships, developing retail networks, and achieving sales and visibility targets in Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, and Ernakulam . The candidate will ensure strong market penetration, effective trade execution, and consistent brand presence across both urban and semi-urban outlets. Key Responsibilities Drive primary and secondary sales to meet business targets across the assigned territory. Identify, appoint, and manage distributors and stockists to strengthen supply chain efficiency. Enhance retail penetration by expanding outlet coverage across modern trade, general trade, and Horeca segments. Implement trade promotions, merchandising, and visibility activities to increase brand recall. Develop strong relationships with channel partners, retailers, and key accounts. Track competitor activities and provide actionable market intelligence to the management team. Ensure timely collections, credit control, and adherence to company financial guidelines. Plan and execute market development programs, consumer activations, and brand-building activities. Submit regular sales reports, market insights, and forecasts to management. Mentor and motivate field sales executives (if applicable) to achieve productivity goals. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets. Expansion of distribution footprint across Central Kerala. Increase in active outlets and market share. Execution of brand visibility and promotion plans. Timely and accurate reporting. Qualifications & Experience Graduate / Postgraduate in Marketing, Business, or related field. 4–7 years of FMCG sales experience (tea/beverages preferred). Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and sales MIS tools. Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
