Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate operations across sheet metal press shop , roll forming lines , and welding bays . Allocate manpower and resources efficiently to meet daily production schedules. Monitor and ensure quality of fabricated parts, welded assemblies, and roll-formed components. Ensure optimal usage and maintenance of equipment such as: Mechanical/Hydraulic Power Presses Roll Forming Machines Spot/MIG/TIG Welding Equipment CNC Shearing & Bending Machines Work closely with planning, quality, maintenance, and design teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth production flow. Implement and monitor 5S , Lean Manufacturing , OEE , and continuous improvement practices. Train and mentor operators, welders, and helpers on machine operations, safety, and quality awareness. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory norms. Track production KPIs, downtime, rework, and scrap; suggest and implement corrective actions. Required Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering. Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a sheet metal fabrication environment with: Press shop operations (tooling knowledge, die setup, safety) Roll forming processes (metal profiling, machine settings) Welding (MIG, TIG, spot welding manual and robotic if applicable) Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and fabrication tolerances. Working knowledge of ERP systems, MS Office, and production reporting.
