We are seeking passionate and dedicated female interns to take charge of teaching and coordinating classroom activities for children. As an intern, you will serve as both a teacher and a guide, assisting students in their learning journey, fostering engagement, and supporting their emotional and academic growth. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include delivering engaging lessons in subjects such as English, Basic Math, Moral Values, and others. You will create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment, manage classroom routines, attendance, discipline, and participation. Utilizing creative teaching tools like storytelling, role-play, drawing, or music will be essential to engaging students effectively. Tracking student performance and providing constructive feedback to the team, organizing awareness activities, events, or skill-based workshops, and supporting students" emotional and social growth with empathy and patience are also key aspects of the role. Collaboration with other teachers and volunteers for planning sessions and materials is crucial for the success of the program. Please note that the internship opportunity is located in Gurgaon (DLF City Phase 1) with a working schedule of 6 hours per day, 5 days a week. This position is open exclusively to female candidates. About the Company: Sarvam Shakti, a flagship project of the Sarvam Foundation, is a unique and empowering educational program designed for urban slum girls. The program emphasizes creative education, offering intensive training in Indian performing arts and yoga. Through the Shiksha initiative, quality education in computers and English classes is provided. The students, known as Shaktis, have showcased their talents on national television and international platforms.
