As a Quality Engineer in the Quality department, you will be responsible for conducting final inspections and functional testing of lighting products to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer specifications. Your role will involve verifying product quality, safety, and design standards, as well as identifying and documenting any non-conformities for corrective actions. Key Responsibilities - Perform final inspection and functional testing of lighting products before dispatch. - Verify product compliance with design, quality, and safety standards. - Document any non-conformities and coordinate with production or design teams for corrective actions. - Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation as per customer requirements. - Maintain inspection reports and quality records. - Calibrate and maintain inspection tools and equipment. - Participate in root cause analysis and continual improvement activities. - Support internal and external quality audits. - Train junior inspectors or production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques as needed. Requirements - Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field). - Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection in lighting or electrical product manufacturing. - Knowledge of lighting standards such as IEC, BIS, CE, and RoHS. - Familiarity with visual, mechanical, and electrical inspection techniques. - Understanding of inspection tools like multimeters, lux meters, vernier calipers, etc. - Basic knowledge of quality tools such as 5 Why, Ishikawa, and documentation practices. - Proficiency in MS Office and report generation. - Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
