As an Automation Engineer specializing in PLC/DCS & Instrumentation, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing system architecture, I/O lists, and control philosophies. Your role will involve specifying and integrating third-party systems, planning and executing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and providing support for installation, site acceptance, and commissioning activities for control systems. You will play a crucial part in internal and client-facing project review meetings, ensuring clear documentation and resolving technical queries related to logic, hardware, HMI, and communication protocols. Managing deliverables across multiple EPC projects to ensure timely completion will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will utilize MS Office tools for documentation, reporting, and handover packages. The desired skills and expertise for this role include experience in PLC logic and HMI development, with a preference for Siemens and Rockwell systems. A strong understanding of process instrumentation such as pressure, flow, level, temperature, and analytical instruments is essential. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, Boolean logic, and hands-on experience with Siemens S7-1200 to S7-400 and Rockwell MicroLogix/ControlLogix systems are highly valued. Knowledge of Schneider and Honeywell control systems is considered a plus. To qualify for this position, you should hold a BE/B.Tech degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering and possess 6-10 years of relevant experience in automation and control engineering. Your expertise in automation, instrumentation, engineering, and familiarity with protocols, communication protocols, and various control systems will be integral to your success in this role.,
