Job Title: Chef Location: Kochi, Kerala Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our hotel’s culinary team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting high-quality dishes while ensuring consistency, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. You’ll oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, and contribute creative ideas to enhance our menu offerings. Key Responsibilities: Plan and prepare meals in accordance with hotel standards and guest preferences. Develop new dishes and menu ideas that reflect both local and international cuisines. Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily kitchen activities. Maintain hygiene, food safety, and quality standards in compliance with FSSAI regulations. Monitor inventory and manage kitchen budgets effectively. Ensure timely and efficient service during lunch and dinner operations. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to maintain consistency and professionalism. Ensure all equipment and kitchen areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained. Requirements: Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Chef (experience in hotels or fine-dining restaurants preferred). Strong knowledge of Indian, Chinese and Arabic cuisines. Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills. Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management. Salary: Competitive, based on experience and skills.
