Rock & Reef Dredging specializes in various types of dredging projects across India, with a growing fleet of dredgers and in-house technical expertise. We are expanding our survey capabilities and looking for a dedicated Hydrographic Surveyor to support internal surveys for our ongoing and upcoming dredging projects. Key Responsibilities Conduct single-beam hydrographic surveys to monitor dredging progress and verify depth data. Perform pre-dredge and post-dredge surveys to ensure compliance with project requirements. Process and validate raw survey data using appropriate software (e.g. Hypack, AutoCAD, or similar). Maintain survey equipment, including single-beam echo sounders, DGPS units, and related peripherals. Prepare accurate survey charts, reports, and volume calculations for internal project teams. Work closely with the project engineers, dredge operators, and site managers to support operations. Ensure data quality, calibration accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols on-site. Qualifications & Skills Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hydrography, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hydrographic surveying (preferably in dredging or marine construction). Hands-on experience with single-beam survey systems (knowledge of multibeam is a plus). Proficiency in survey data processing and mapping software (Hypack, AutoCAD, etc.). Strong understanding of tidal corrections, positioning systems, and sound velocity calibration.
