As a Lead Robotics Engineer, you will manage and contribute to full-stack robotics projects involving ROS 2, embedded control, and sensor integration. In addition to coding and system integration, you'll mentor a small team and ensure the successful delivery of robotic platforms. Key responsibilities: 1. Develop and deploy real-time robotic software using ROS 2, written in C++ and Python. 2. Guide and support a team of ~3 engineers across embedded, ROS, and electronics domains. 3. Work on sensor integration (LiDAR, IMUs, depth cameras) and actuator control (motors, drivers, PLC interfaces). 4. Write embedded firmware for microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, Arduino) and manage system-level debugging. 5. Collaborate with mechanical and electronics teams to bring up functional prototypes. 6. Lead system testing, tuning, and on-site deployment. 7. Conduct code reviews, track task progress, and ensure timely technical delivery. 8. Document architecture and support the team with training, guidance, and problem-solving. Requirements: 1. 1-2 years of experience in robotics, automation, or embedded systems. 2. Strong command of C++/Python and experience in ROS 2 development. 3. Solid hands-on skills in embedded C, firmware debugging, and hardware-software integration. 4. Familiarity with PLC basics and HMI/SCADA is a plus. 5. Proven experience in leading a small technical team or acting as a project lead. 6. Strong understanding of sensor interfaces, real-time protocols, and motor control. 7. Excellent communication, task tracking, and collaboration skills.
