Job Description

Clinical Duties

Perform robotic-assisted urological surgeries (e.g., prostatectomy, partial nephrectomy, cystectomy, pyeloplasty).
Diagnose and manage urological diseases using evidence-based practices.
Provide pre-operative evaluation, informed consent, and post-operative follow-up care.
Manage surgical complications and ensure continuity of patient care.
Participate in outpatient clinics, ward rounds, and emergency urology care as required.

Robotic Surgery & Technology

Operate and maintain proficiency in robotic surgical systems (e.g., da Vinci or equivalent).
Adhere to robotic surgery protocols, safety standards, and best practices.
Collaborate with OT staff to ensure optimal setup and workflow for robotic procedures.

Academic & Quality Responsibilities

Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and morbidity & mortality meetings.
Engage in teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and nursing staff.
Contribute to clinical research, publications, or presentations (if applicable).
Stay updated with advances in urology and robotic surgery.

Administrative & Compliance

Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Comply with hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in hospital committees and departmental meetings as required.
