Robotic Software Engineer

As a Robotic Software Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions for autonomous robotic systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing software for robotic platforms, encompassing control systems, perception, and navigation. - Implementing and integrating algorithms for SLAM, motion planning, sensor fusion, and object detection. - Developing and maintaining ROS (Robot Operating System) nodes and packages. - Conducting testing, debugging, and optimization of real-time robotic systems. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams comprising mechanical, electrical, and embedded engineers. - Writing clean, modular, and well-documented code. - Supporting simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing environments. - Contributing to system architecture decisions and software design reviews. The key skills required for this role include proficiency in C++ and/or Python with a strong grasp of software development principles, experience with ROS/ROS2 and robotic middleware, familiarity with robotic algorithms such as SLAM, path planning, and control theory, knowledge of sensor integration (LiDAR, IMU, cameras) and data processing, experience with simulation tools like Gazebo, Rviz, familiarity with real-time systems and embedded programming, exposure to machine learning or computer vision frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, OpenCV), experience in deploying robotic applications in field or industrial environments, and knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Agile development practices. You should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
