Robotic Software Engineer

As a Robotic Software Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions for autonomous robotic systems. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing software for robotic platforms, implementing and integrating algorithms for various functionalities, such as SLAM and motion planning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build intelligent robotic applications. You will be expected to work closely with hardware engineers, researchers, and product teams to ensure the successful integration of software with robotic systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting testing, debugging, and optimization of real-time robotic systems, as well as supporting simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing environments. To excel in this role, you should be proficient in C++ and/or Python, with a strong understanding of software development principles. Experience with ROS/ROS2 and robotic middleware, familiarity with robotic algorithms, sensor integration, and simulation tools like Gazebo and Rviz will be essential. Exposure to machine learning or computer vision frameworks, as well as knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Agile development practices, will also be valuable assets. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
