Robot Automation Tester with Python

As a Senior Robot Automation Tester at Sonata Software, you will work in an Agile environment with Jira to design and write scalable automation scripts efficiently using the Robot Framework (Python). Your key responsibilities will include performing API Testing and functional testing on Salesforce systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage, communicating effectively with stakeholders, identifying and tracking defects, analyzing test results, and maintaining the existing test automation framework. You will be expected to ensure that testing activities align with project schedules and deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, debug, and execute automated test scripts using the Robot Framework (Python). - Perform API Testing and functional testing on salesforce systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design test plans, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback. - Identify, report, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution. - Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders. - Maintain and update the existing test automation framework. - Ensure testing activities align with project schedules and deadlines. Required Skill Sets and Experience: - Python and Java with Robot Framework: More than 5+ years experience in Python and/or Java programming with strong proficiency in Python and/or Java and proven hands-on experience with the Robot Framework for test automation. - RestAssured/Postman/Bruno API Testing: Hands-on experience with RestAssured/Postman for API testing, including creating and executing test cases for API services. - Integration Projects (Good to have): Experience working on projects with multiple integrations, demonstrating the ability to handle complex testing scenarios. - Test Automation: Proven experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. - GUI Based Test Automation: Good understanding of GUI based test automation using tools such as Selenium and mobile automation using Appium. - Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Communication: Exceptional communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and detail-oriented. - Hands-on Tools: Expertise in Atlassian tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, or ALM tools. - Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Other Skill Sets: - Agile & Testing Methodologies: Understanding and ability to work on agile projects and testing methodologies. Participate in daily SCRUM calls and provide task updates.,
