The purpose of your role is to create the painting/sealing process in accordance with QCD objectives (Quality, Cost, Delay), reliability, security & ergonomics. You will ensure the definition and feasibility of robotic programs BIW/Sealing/Plastic parts from the Paint perspective. Additionally, you will propose and negotiate product optimizations to exceed QCD objectives and reliability. You will report to the IAP_VPE Manager as well as Process Architect, who fills the project synthesis. Your responsibilities will include hands-on experience on robot offline programming using ABB Robostudio software for ABB robots and Fanuc Roboguide software for Fanuc Robots. You will design and implement robot processes, including developing robot offline programs. You should be able to create offline programs, including paint path creation, paint path optimization, and paint process parameters optimization to achieve product quality. Analyzing and feasibility studies for new parts for robotic operations will also be part of your responsibilities. Basic knowledge of the paint process is an added advantage, as well as online or offline troubleshooting of ABB and/or Fanuc Robots. You should have the ability to manage projects without guidelines and provide solutions. Hands-on experience in Offline & Online Paint Robot Teaching is essential, along with experience in handling Robot Paint Parameters (like HV, shaping air, Rinsing air, paint Flow, etc.). Experience in Robot Installation & Commissioning, knowledge of Robot Safety Standards, handling Painting Robot makes such as Motoman, Durr, ABB, etc., and knowledge of Colour Matching for Solid & Metallic Colours are required. Expertise in handling Painting defects, very good knowledge of PTED & TOPCOAT Process, understanding Production requirements checks, and Stellantis Standard (RTs) is necessary. Concept design, RFQ, and Technical document preparation as per new facility requirements will also be part of your role. Qualifications required for this role include a B-Tech/B.E./ Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical Engineering degree with 5-8 years of experience. Competencies needed include technical skills like exposure to software like ROBOCAD, MOTOSIM, Roboguide, Paint Pro, sound knowledge in automobile paint shop processes, ability in problem-solving & defect root cause analyzing, experience in control systems, PLC, effective coordination & handling equipment, and paint material suppliers. Knowledge of Auto CAD will be an added advantage. In terms of behavioral competencies, you should have the ability to work with deadlines & without supervision, leadership skills to Drive CFT, good analysis skills, be dynamic & self-starter, a good team player, and have problem-solving skills.,
