Key Responsibility:- RMC Spare parts Sales Engineer Job Description 1. Conduct regular site visits to RMC plants to inspect silos and associated accessories. 2. Assess condition of silos, accessories, and consumables (e.g., aeration pads, dust filters, VCP, blower, screw conveyor, screw pump). 3. Generate detailed spare parts requirement list after physical inspection and client discussion. 4. Identify wear, damage, or missing components requiring replacement or upgrade. 5. Create a detailed report of spare parts required, including quantities and technical specifications. 6. Coordinate with plant/site engineers to prioritize critical items. 7. Maintain an updated spare parts checklist specific to each site or plant type. 8. Prepare quotations based on the site requirement and customer discussions. 9. Submit quotations promptly and follow up for feedback or approval. 10. Provide technical clarifications to customers on silo components (e.g., pressure relief valves, level sensors, butterfly valves, screw conveyor z, blower, screw pump) 11. Recommend suitable spare/replacement parts based on usage and site environment. 12. Promote upgrades or compatible accessories to improve plant efficiency and safety. 13. Regularly follow up with clients to close quotations and convert them into orders. 14. Coordinate with dispatch/logistics for timely delivery of ordered items. 15. Maintain visit reports, quotation history, and order tracking sheets. 16. Submit weekly or monthly reports to management on site visits, pending quotations. 17. Liaise with design, production, and inventory teams to ensure the availability and readiness of quoted items. 18. Share feedback from the field to improve product quality and service offerings. 19. Build and maintain strong relationships with plant managers, purchase departments, and maintenance teams. 20. Observe competitor products and pricing strategies during visits.
