Business Development Executive – Education / EdTech Company: ALLEN Career Institute Location: [Insert City / Region] Job Type: Full-time | Field Sales | Business Development Experience Required: 2+ years in Business Development / Sales (Education Industry preferred) About the Role We are looking for a Business Development Executive (BDE) to drive growth in the education and EdTech sector . This role is ideal for professionals passionate about school partnerships, K-12 education, coaching centers, and institutional sales . You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships, and achieving sales targets while expanding ALLEN’s market presence. Key Responsibilities Identify and research potential clients: schools, coaching centers, tuition teachers, government bodies . Develop new business opportunities through liaison with school administration and coaching institutes . Execute outreach plans: workshops, seminars, ground activations, promotional events . Participate in conferences, networking events, and brand-building activities. Present and demonstrate educational products / EdTech solutions to prospective clients. Ensure timely lead generation and CRM updates. Track industry trends, competitor activities, and education policy changes. Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets & KPIs . Provide regular reports on pipeline status and market feedback. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Science, or related field. 2+ years of proven business development / sales experience in the education industry . Strong understanding of K-12 and higher education landscapes . Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce) and MS Office Suite . Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. Willingness to travel extensively. Language proficiency: English, Hindi, and regional language (Bengali / Marathi, etc.) . Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in a relevant field. Experience with EdTech products / solutions .
