Job Title: Quality Manager Location: Andheri, Mumbai Education: Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering Experience: Minimum 3 years as a QC Engineer in an automotive component manufacturing company Key Responsibilities: Prepare 8D (CAPA) reports, PPAP documentation, and APQP documents. Generate PDI and RMTC reports; ensure RMTC + PDI availability for each supplier lot. Resolve customer complaints and drive continuous improvement (KAIZEN). Inspect and approve all incoming materials; maintain records of incoming RMTC and inspection reports. Conduct supplier evaluation, quality audits, and compliance checks vs supplier KPIs. Lead in-process inspections and plant quality improvement projects; implement Poka-Yoke systems. Conduct layered, process and product audits; train manpower for continuous improvement. Perform instrument calibration as per frequency plan. Conduct SPC, MSA, LUX and poison tests; maintain MTTR & MTBF metrics. Skills & Knowledge Required: Proficiency in SolidWorks. Advanced Excel & strong statistical skills. Hands-on experience with measuring instruments. Knowledge of QMS & IATF standards and documentation. Excellent communication and liaison skills.
