As an experienced professional in the field of product development, you will be responsible for driving the next generation of products. Your role will involve handling green field projects and working on new technologies specifically in the refrigerator domain. It is crucial that you contribute towards achieving organizational targets aligned with product and technologies roadmaps while staying updated with the current trends in the refrigerator market. You will play a key role in managing the design and development of refrigerators and chest freezers across all projects. This includes preparing detailed schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines, and effectively managing platforms. Additionally, you will be involved in the management of Capex and Opex, as well as focusing on export market development and creating exclusive models for the online market. Cost management and product testing knowledge, especially in the context of refrigerators and chest freezers, will be essential for this role. You should be well-versed in Codes & Standards and proficient in ECN Management, BOM Management, Drawing Management, and RMC management. Setting and achieving RMC targets on a model-wise basis, leading cost innovation projects, and developing cost-effective models will be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will be expected to conduct competitor benchmarking both technically and commercially, analyze field failure issues, and provide solutions for product design and line issues. Continuous improvement in products will be a key focus area to ensure the competitiveness of the product line. The ideal candidate should have 15-20 years of experience in a similar role and the job location is Ghiloth, Rajasthan.
