As a Mainframe Developer in the banking domain at FIS, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and relevant issues in financial services and technology. This includes developing program logic for new applications, analyzing and modifying logic in existing applications, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, implementing, and maintaining software applications. You will also be responsible for maintaining, testing, and integrating application components, as well as making recommendations for code development and reuse. You should have 6 to 15 years of experience in Mainframe Development, with strong knowledge in CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, Syncsort, and Easytrieve. Experience in the Banking Domain is essential, along with consistent academic records. Knowledge of Systematics such as ALS, IMPACS, RM, or ST is preferred. Additional skills in FIS products and services, as well as financial services industry knowledge and basic financial analysis principles, would be considered an added bonus. In this role, you will work in a hybrid mode, with a minimum of 2 days per week working from the office.
