Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with prior experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance within a Chartered Accountant firm. The role involves managing client accounts, statutory filings, and assisting senior team members in audits and advisory services. Key Responsibilities: Maintain books of accounts in Tally/other accounting software and ensure accuracy. Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, Income Tax returns, and other statutory filings. Assist in statutory, tax, and internal audits. Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and reconciliations (bank, vendor, customer, GST, TDS, etc.). Handle accounts payable and receivable management for clients. Support in compliance with MCA filings and ROC-related work. Liaise with clients, vendors, and government authorities as required. Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and compliance requirements. Assist seniors in preparing documentation for assessments, scrutiny, and appeals. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or higher. Pursuing or completed CA (Inter) preferred but not mandatory. 3–5 years of experience in accounting and taxation (preferably in a CA firm). Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions. Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting/ERP software. Good communication and client management skills. Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
