Our client, a global leader in transportation cybersecurity and industrial technology solutions, is seeking a skilled individual for the role of Cylus (OT Operations) Engineer. This position is pivotal in safeguarding the operational systems of some of the world's largest transportation networks through cutting-edge OT security measures. As a Contract to Hire role, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to showcase their expertise for a duration of 3 to 6 months before potential permanent employment. The ideal candidate for this position should possess 2 to 4 years of experience in OT Security Operations or IT/Network Security, with exposure to industrial environments. Familiarity with Cylus OT security solutions or similar platforms is a must, along with a strong understanding of SCADA, ICS, or OT protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and IEC 104. Experience in incident management, log analysis, alert triaging, network fundamentals, cybersecurity principles, and using ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Jira will be advantageous. In this role, the responsibilities include providing L2 support for Cylus OT security solutions by monitoring, troubleshooting, and handling incidents. The individual will be expected to review and analyze security alerts and anomalies from Cylus platforms, collaborate with L1 support teams to resolve issues, and maintain Cylus sensors, dashboards, and integration points with OT/IT systems. Additionally, the candidate will assist in incident investigations, perform system health checks, ensure compliance with security standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in OT security operations.
