As a Model/Anlys/Valid Analyst II at Citigroup, your role involves applying your specialty area knowledge to monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate processes and data. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing, enhancing, and validating methods for measuring and analyzing risk across all risk types, such as market, credit, and operational - Leading projects for model development, programming, integration, testing, and validation - Providing analytical support on analysis and benchmarking - Preparing regular and ad-hoc reports in alignment with Risk Management Team priorities, running integrity checks, and verifying key numbers - Participating in projects to improve risk analytics, modeling, and validation systems, as well as optimizing reports - Working on enhancing the reporting system and optimizing Credit MIS Reports In addition to these responsibilities, you will need to appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Qualifications required for this role include: - Demonstrated programming skills in SAS, SQL, R, etc., with knowledge of tools like VBA being preferable - Basic understanding of secured/unsecured banking products and US banking - Strong communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences - Proven analytical skills to identify root causes, trends, and anticipate future issues - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) - 2+ years of experience in model implementation/validation/development is preferable Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that this role will have a limited but direct impact on the business, mainly within your own team.
