Job Description

The role of Risk Investigator I at TekWissen involves carrying out the vision and mission of the TERA team to prevent, detect, and investigate potential fraud and financial abuse within the company. As a part of the team, you will be responsible for performing investigations and deep dives in a timely manner, communicating recommendations and findings to management and other stakeholders. Additionally, you will review employee expense reimbursements and corporate card spend for compliance with the client's Travel and Expense reimbursement policy. Your responsibilities will include identifying and defining issues and root causes related to potential fraud and financial abuse, collaborating with various operations teams to enhance their processes. You will need to adhere to the client's policies and procedures on expense reimbursement, corporate cards, and Business Code of Conduct. Moreover, you will be expected to implement operational program controls by creating project plans, establishing SOPs, process controls, and coordinating workstreams as necessary. As a Risk Investigator I, you will play a crucial role in identifying and escalating gaps in existing fraud prevention/detection tools and risk assessment methodology. You will drive improvement projects to develop mechanisms within the TERA team to prevent and detect fraud, abuse, and waste in a timely manner. Your insights and recommendations will contribute to product and technology roadmap discussions. To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in risk management areas such as internal/external audit, risk management, or investigation. Proficiency in data analysis using tools like Excel, VBA, SQL, or Python is essential. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in expense reimbursement audit, corporate card fraud, employee investigations, conflict of interest, or forensic investigation. Having a background in Forensic or holding a CFE certification would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong leadership, analytical skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Effective written and verbal communication skills are crucial, including the ability to engage comfortably with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in forensic data analysis, SQL, Python, and visualization tools like Tableau or QuickSight is desirable. Candidates with an MBA/Postgraduate degree in finance or professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant/Certified Fraud Examiner are encouraged to apply.
