As a seasoned QA professional with 8-11 years of experience, you will be responsible for playing a lead role in ETL testing, UI testing, DB testing, and managing a team effectively. Your primary focus will be on understanding comprehensive requirements, analyzing stories, specifications, and technical design documents to develop detailed test cases and test data. Your expertise in both Automation and Manual testing will ensure thorough testing of business functionality. You will be required to validate ETL workflows, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and adherence to Transformation rules using complex Snowflake SQL queries. Experience with DBT is considered a plus. It will be essential to create, execute, and maintain automation scripts using BDD Gherkin/Behave, Pytest, along with proficiency in writing DB queries, preferably in Postgres, Snowflake, MySQL, or RDS. Collaboration with cross-team subject matter experts to develop, maintain, and validate test scenarios will be crucial. Additionally, you will be expected to take ownership of creating and maintaining artifacts such as Test strategy, BRD, Defect count/leakage report, and addressing quality issues. Working closely with the DevOps/SRE team to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines will also be part of your responsibilities. Your leadership skills will be put to the test as you oversee and guide a team of at least 4 testers, setting an example by institutionalizing best practices in testing processes and automation within an agile methodology. Regular interactions with internal stakeholders to review testing approaches, provide feedback for improvements, and present metrics consolidation to senior leadership will be essential. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, or Engineering. A minimum of 6 years of experience in UI, Database, ETL testing, along with proficiency in writing DB queries and automation scripts execution using Selenium web-driver and Python is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are key competencies expected from you. Experience with Agile methodologies, team leadership, and familiarity with MS Power BI reporting will be advantageous. Additionally, exposure to Healthcare/Life Sciences domain and manual/automation testing will be a plus. Flexibility in working hours and excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with global teams.,
