Company Overview: We are a leading FMCG manufacturing unit operating as a Contract Manufacturing Unit (CMU) for ITC Foods, specializing in potato chips production. Our facility is equipped with advanced machinery, including ISHIDA, Catalyst, fryers, conveyors, seasoning systems, and ancillary equipment, requiring consistent and preventive maintenance to ensure high production efficiency and zero downtime. Position Overview: We are looking for a Maintenance Manager with proven experience in FMCG manufacturing, preferably in snacks or food processing plants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the maintenance team, ensuring all production machinery, utilities, and plant infrastructure operate at peak efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance for all production and packing machinery. Lead and guide a team of maintenance technicians and fitters. Maintain and troubleshoot machinery such as ISHIDA & Catalyst packing machines, fryers, seasoning equipment, conveyors, compressors, and utility systems. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and hygiene standards as per ITC and FMCG norms. Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical spares. Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Implement maintenance best practices, predictive maintenance techniques, and root cause analysis (RCA) for repeated issues. Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports. Liaise with machine suppliers and contractors for major repairs and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts). Qualifications & Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 5–8 years of maintenance experience in the FMCG/food processing sector, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of packaging machinery (ISHIDA, Catalyst) and continuous production line equipment. Proficient in preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance strategies. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards for food manufacturing.
