As an Assistant Vice President in the role of Operation Analyst Lending at Barclays, your main responsibility will be to ensure excellent client service and operational execution tasks. Your primary purpose will be to provide support to business areas by handling day-to-day tasks like processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and resolving issues. You will collaborate with various teams to streamline operational processes, identify areas for enhancement, implement operational procedures to mitigate risks, generate reports on operational performance, stay updated on industry trends, and contribute to projects aimed at improving operational efficiency. As an Assistant Vice President, you are expected to offer advice, influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, ensure operational effectiveness, and lead a team towards achieving objectives. If you have leadership responsibilities, you must exhibit leadership behaviors focused on creating a conducive environment for colleagues to excel. For individual contributors, the focus will be on leading collaborative assignments, guiding team members, and identifying new directions for projects. Your role will involve consulting on complex issues, mitigating risks, developing new policies and procedures, managing risk, and enhancing controls.
